Do you know – sometimes I feel older than others – and having read this – boy do I feel OLD!!!!!!

I have dragged myself into the 21st Century music scene – reluctantly leaving the 70′s and 80′s groups of my youth behind.

I have got the hang of loud noises such as Linkin Park, System of a Down and Skillett from Owen, learned the words due to continual drip feeds of bands such as Green Day, Fightstar and Simple Plan from Siân. Get indoctrinated working at home to obscurities (to me anyway) from Goldfrapp, Cooper Temple Clause, The Dears, Handsome Boy Madelling School and Arcade Fire from dear hubby…

Then I read your page and realise I don’t have a clue…

So near — yet so far away—– I am going to find some good old familiar 70′s disco and climb under the blanket of nostalgia and SULK!!!
